Crown and Christmas Sale of Art and Fine Crafts

If you’re re searching for an original, well crafted gift for your child’s teacher, your boss, your spouse – or yourself, you’ll find something to your taste – and pocketbook -- at the Crown and Christmas Sale of Art and Fine Crafts. The show coincides with Almonte’s Light Up the Night festivities, with an opening vernissage hosted by the Friends of the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum on Friday evening, December 2, from 6 to 9 pm.

Organized by the Crown and Pumpkin Studio Tour Committee, the show features a number of well-known tour members as well as many guest artists. From gourmet jams and jellies, goat milk soaps, greeting cards, charming knitted babies hats to luxurious woven silks in rainbow colours, pottery for the table or decor, silver and mixed media jewellery in all price ranges, woodworking and painting, the show offers a broad selection of juried, high-quality, locally made work. Visitors will have a chance to win a gift basket of artists’ work, valued at over $100 . The show continues on Saturday, Dec 3rd. and Sunday, December 4th, 10 am to 5 pm. Free admission.
